Wendy

Hello, my name is Wendy. I was born and raised in New York. I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I also have a TESOL certificate. Before coming to Korea, I was a teacher’s assistant in New York City for two years in a Kindergarten class under the Department of Education. Then, I moved to South Korea four years ago to teach English. I taught elementary school students from grades 1 to 6 at a public elementary school after school program for two years. The students’ level varied. It ranged from starter (phonics), beginner, intermediate to advanced. I have also taught at an international school for two years. I was the designated second grade homeroom teacher for one year, then fifth grade homeroom teacher for the next. The subjects I taught were English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics.
