12년 경력의 원어민 선생님 Cayly(캐일리)입니다. 교육학 학사를 졸업했고, 테솔 자격증을 보유하고 있어요. 현재 영문학 석사과정을 마쳤습니다. 저의 가족은 영국출신이고 저는 아름다운 나라 남아프리카 공화국에서 자랐어요. 5년 간 한국에 거주하면서, 한국 학생들에게 영어가 얼마나 중요한 과목인지 알 수 있었습니다. 초, 중, 대학교의 영어 선생님이었어요. 1~6학년 학생을 가르쳤습니다. 담임 선생님을 맡기도 했어요. 영어 수업 커리큘럼 구성을 담당했습니다. 저는 학생들이 편안한 마음으로 임할 수 있는 수업을 제공합니다. 실수해도 괜찮은 수업을 만들어 갑니다. 여러분과 온라인으로 만나게 되어 정말 기뻐요. 영어실력이 향상될 수 있도록 도와드릴게요. Hello everyone, I am Cayly, a native speaker and qualified English teacher. I have a Masters degree (Cum Laude) in British and American studies, Bachelors degree in Education, and a TESOL certificate. I lived in South Korea for 5 years so I know how important English education is to Korean students. I was an elementary school teacher at Sungshin elementary and Maewon elementary school in Seoul. I taught elementary school students from 1st grade to 6th grade. I was the designated head of first grade as well as 5th grade. I was also a homeroom teacher. A big part of my responsibilities was creating the curriculum for the English language program. I also taught English to elementary and middle school students’ at Handong Universities’ summer camps in Pohang. I have experience teaching English to students of a variety of levels and using a variety of different teaching methods. I enjoy making my lessons fun and entertaining and creating a safe and nurturing environment for my students to feel safe enough to make mistakes and improve. My family comes from England and I grew up in the beautifully sunny South Africa. I am incredibly excited to meet you online and help you continue on your journey to becoming a better English speaker.
